When Little Bug was younger her bedtime routine ended with daddy and I having to kiss her, Diego, sleep sack 1, sleep sack 2 and then we said goodnight and left. Over time she's dropped some of the routine and replaced parts of it so now it goes like this:
- I blow a kiss, "good night" then Little Bug says, "I caught it and put it under my pillow"
- then she blows me a kiss and I say, "I caught it and put it in my pocket"
- then she takes an imaginary picture of me and I take one of her, they go under her pillow and in my pocket respectively
- NOW she sits up and tosses me imaginary mail...which she wants me to read. It always says something like I love mommy, daddy and Little Chick very much
- THEN I throw her some imaginary magic
Now this whole thing only takes a minute or two but she keeps trying to add more things to it - pretty soon she's going to start falling asleep in the middle of it

Street Performer
The weather just turned gorgeous so we took the girls out for a stroll. The jogging stroller actually has speakers in it, but we've never used them. Now that I downloaded pandora for my phone and we programmed it to a custom kids music station, I grabbed my phone, plugged it into the stroller and Eve had her own personal mix for the stroll. And she is fearless when it comes to singing in public at the top of her lungs. Hakuna Matata came on and she was singing it as load as she could through the neighborhood. So much for our relaxing stroll.
The other day Little Bug and the girls next door were running through the backyard in their mixture of chase and pile up, where they run for a while and then fall on the ground on top of eachother in a pile of giggles. We hear what we thought was crying at first and then realize that it is Little Bug singing at the top of her lungs while she twirls around and the neighbors twirled around her like back up dancers. We tried to record it with our phones, but as soon as we'd get too close they would stop (like animals in the zoo). It was hilarious seeing the three of them singing away without a care in the world.

BFF
I was holding Little Chick in my lap and Little Bug walked in and gave her the biggest squeeze of a hug. Then she said to her - "we'll be best friends forever." Such a precious moment!
