Blinky

Six months in and Eve has gotten her first eye infection. I thought she was just allergic to dogs (she was around a golden this weekend), and that was why her eyes were watery. After the second day of waking up with a crusty eye, I called the ped. Good news is that we caught it early, and with her eye drops (which she can't stand) it should be cleared up in a day or two. Plus, eye infections usually come with ear infections and her ears look great.

Since I had a client dinner to go to, poor Matt had to take her to the doctor, then to two different Walgreens since the first didn't have the right meds, then wrestle Eve down to give her eye drops and do the entire nighttime routine by himself. While I was across town struggling through really boring dinner conversations. I think it is a tie.

I got home in time to tuck the screaming monster in bed. She passed out and slept through the night, with only a little bit of a watery eye this morning to show for it.
