All That Glitters

Little bug is 100 percent girl, girly to be exact. She has picked up a habit of taking my bracelets off of me when I come home from work so that she can wear them. She puts them on her arms and walks around with her arms in the air so that the bracelets don't fall off. She'll also wear my big necklaces that almost hang down the floor on her. When she puts one on she gets a huge smile.

She likes holding onto my jewelry and hides it in her favorite spots. We made a tent out of her little activity gym by tossing a blanket on top of it. She hides in it and brings her favorite toys into the tent with her. I was running late leaving for work and couldn't find my watch anywhere. As I was about to give up, I spotted her little tent and inside of it I found my watch, the lid to a jar of nuts, and a little bottle of sprinkles.

This week we were shopping for some big gold gangsta chains for her to wear to the "Come as your favorite rock star 4th of July BBQ" and instead of finding gold chains, I found a pink beaded necklace with matching bracelets and choking hazard ring (which I tossed of course). Little bug grabbed onto the necklace in the store and would barely let go of it for the cashier to ring us up. She wore it in the carseat and then walked around the house with it. Luckily she forgot about it when it came bedtime.
