We went out for dim sum with friends of ours and little bug is a big fan. I couldn't get the food to her fast enough. She ate everything I gave her and then kept banging her tray for more. She was holding onto the chopsticks and dropped one on the floor. The waiter picked up her chopstick and took it away and she gave him her really mean stare.
After lunch, we headed to get rid of little bug's mullet by taking her to Pigtails & Crewcuts which is a hair cuttery designed for kids. They have this down to a science. Little bug got strapped into a play car, played with the steering wheel and was handed something new every few minutes, i.e. a cookie, a hair clip, a comb, etc. It was like a military operation. She did great except for the last few seconds when she had the inevitable meltdown while the gal put her hair into a side pony tail.
At home little bug went back to work. She has little tasks she has created, one of which is to carry her clothes into our room and then carry our clothes from our room into hers. She's very serious about her jobs.
