The World of Make Believe

The flurry of Christmas gifts brought lots of "pretend play" sets for little bug, like fake food, microwave, tea set, etc. So daddy has taught her little sounds to make while she's playing make believe. She makes the "shh" sound of tea pouring from her teapot when she "pours" a cup of tea, then she gulps down the tea saying "gulp, gulp", then says "ahhh" and rubs her belly exclaiming "mmm-hmmm". I hope the sound effect habit is broken by the time she's a teenager, or dinners out are going to be hard to explain.

Ready for a Nap

Today little bug was running around all morning playing with all of her toys, then she decided that she needed a nap. She walked around the house until she found all three of her sleep sacks and her bear. Once she had the sleep sacks and the bear all piled up on top of herself, she snuggled into her bean bag chair and closed her eyes.
