Handy Little Bug

This weekend we were fixing up some things around the house since we've decided to officially get it on the market in the next month or so. We were clearing out the storage room downstairs and little bug was bopping around pulling things apart. I look up and see her walking down the front hallway with a stuffed animal in her right hand and daddy's power drill in her left. I guess it was time for some surgery.

Later that day we were in the master bathroom talking and we turn around to see little bug holding a cup of grout and stirring it with a stick, calmly while she was listening to us. It is amazing what she can get a hold of in a few seconds.

When I get home from work she usually wants to wear my high heels, necklace, and work badge while she bops around the house. Tonight she made me sit in the corner next to the couch while little bug grabbed two cups and a plate. She handed me the cup and asked "coffee?" then handed me the plate, "cookie?". So we sat in the corner eating our make-believe cookies and coffee.

I pretended to ask the imaginary server to please have another cup of coffee. Little bug had the more direct route. She stood up, put her cup in the air and yelled, "COFFEE".

Next lesson = manners.
