I've fallen off the blogging wagon what with "life" happening, but my New Year's resolution is to keep capturing those sweet moments of the girls. Considering it is mid-February and I this is my first entry perhaps my New Year's Resolution isn't off with a bang, but I'll try. And since my life is now girl(s) pluralized, it is time to introduce Little Chick to the blog. As Little Chick isn't quite as vocal as Little Bug, it'll be skewed heavily towards the latter.
Now, onto the story. In order to save time at night, either daddy or I will take a shower with Little Bug. She likes to play games in the shower, which is interesting considering we are in a stall shower. She actually tries to play hide-and-seek, and yells "mommy, you have to hide!"...in the shower...with no shower curtain. Anyway, I like to sing with her in the shower - it is a mixture of Disney, show tunes and then whatever songs she makes up. I thought it would be funny to teach her, 'I'm Going to Wash that Man Right out of my Hair'. It was super cute with her soaping up her hair and singing at the top of her lungs, until she made up her own lyrics, including: "I'm going to get that man right out of my legs" and "I'm going to wave that man right out of my bottom." I should have seen this coming since singing about her bottom is one of her favorite things to do in the shower. If Broadway comes calling, I don't think we'll answer the phone.
