We have some new words in little bug's vocabulary: bubble and ball. On a related note, we've spent some time chasing bubbles and kicking the soccer ball around the house. She also picked up the baby sign for 'more'.
She has started dancing to music and by dancing I mean stomping her feet and shaking her head from side to side. She'll dance in her high chair, her car seat, the living room...anywhere there is music playing.
The weather was gorgeous today so we took little bug to the park to run off some energy. She discovered that she can pick up the gravel on the path, so we had to keep on top of her making sure that she wasn't eating wood chips or pieces of gravel. She had fun on the swing, the slide and even gave the rock wall a couple of pats.
She has a strange habit that she's started. Apparently she thinks the mail belongs in the microwave. She picks up an envelope, and when you pick her up she lunges for the microwave. So I have to open the door to the microwave, put the envelope inside and then open the door so she can pull it out. I'm trying to make sure I don't microwave any bills by accident!
